Something wicked this way comes

Halloween is just a week away. We have no plans as of yet. I figure we’ll turn off all our lights and pretend to not be home in case any wayward trick-or-treaters come knocking on our door. I’m not sure what it will be like here. At our previous apartment complexes we never had any little ones stopping by, but this is a new place, and I have noticed a lot of young families live here. Then again, this is the metroplex and I think families here may not allow their children to go door to door despite the fact that it is a nice, clean, upper middle-class area. Maybe they do the mall thing.
