I’ve developed an annoying and potentially unhealthy habit. I like video games a lot, which is perfectly fine. What is not fine is that I keep getting distracted by a new or different game and start playing it without finishing the one before it. It’s almost to the point where it’s out of control. Right now I have two partially played games on the GBA SP, one intriguing game on the PS2, two or three on the Gamecube (I say or because one of the games started out as Paul’s, but I’ve played so much of it I think it’s quietly become mine in the process) and finally I believe I have four games in varying stages of play on the original PSOne.
If I start a new one, I may need an intervention.
Maybe one solution would be to start playing games that have no plot to them. Another would be to just take away all game systems and excess games until I finish the ones I’ve already started.
Hmmm. So far, I’m not liking the solutions much.
