And I’m not entirely sure what to do about it. He is in the process of starving to death, but it’s not because of a lack of food. He seems to have lost some of his eye to mouth coordination. When I feed him, he sees the food, and he attempts to eat the food, but he keeps missing it. Most of the time instead of getting it into his mouth he knocks it away. It’s like watching Tantalus and it’s incredibly upsetting.
Now I’m faced with a bit of a moral dilemma. Do I go ahead and slowly let him starve to death, just waiting for the day when he’s floating lifeless at the top of the tank or do I go ahead and send him to a speedier death?
I’m not liking my options.
I’m supposed to be at work in about ten minutes, but Paul said I could call in and not go today. I did. I think we’re going to take care of some of our preparations for our move next month. It’s not like we’re moving that far. We’re just going to a better (hopefully) apartment complex north one county and city of where we are. Still, I would like to be as organized as possible about the move with everything boxed and ready to go out the door by the middle of May.
I just haven’t figured out what I’m a success at. Yet.
…that today should be Easter,

but if I saw this thing in my yard I’d call the ASPCA.
Today gives me a better reason than usual to ignore everyone. Other than that, this is a pretty useless holiday/festivity/whatever.
