just another error in judgement

Rather appropriately, Paul and I watched Wallace and Grommit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit last Friday night. I say it’s rather appropriate because now that we own a house we’ve discovered we have an infestation of bunnies. Well, maybe not an infestation, but we definitely have two or three that really like our yard. So far I’ve only seen them eating clover and other weeds, and none of the flowers that are growing randomly in the beds. However, just because they’re helping us with our yard-work doesn’t mean I like them. They’re also remarkably unintelligent. Paul threw an old sprinkler head at one of them, and it just watched completely unphased by the metal and plastic heading its way.

Sadly, it took awhile to realize these beasts were actually beasts. They look so … domestic and Easter bunny-ish. We both grew up in West Texas, so when we think of rabbits, we think of those nasty, rangy, ugly giant jack-rabbits. Apparently they don’t make those in North Texas, just tiny guys with fluffy tails.

I think our rabbit problems will take a nose dive once we replace our freakishly strange psuedo-fence.
