My parents have managed to appear in an article on the front page of the London Free Press.. I read the article, and it’s pretty short, but I have a little trouble reconciling my actual parents to the printed portrayal of them.
“So they craned their necks” sounds very unlike them. And I completely have to shake my head at this particular sentence: “It turns out the celebrity was something called a premier, some sort of politician, Ed learned.”
Now, I am 100% positive my dad already knew that in Canada premier = politician. If he did not, then I am terribly disappointed in him and he’s off my Christmas card list this year.
