Choices.

Approximately a month ago, I gave up caffeinated beverages. I’m very happy with my decision, and it wasn’t quite as hard as I thought it might be. I had come to rely on caffeine, and had previously said I wanted to stop drinking it. And then, last Saturday, when I was visiting at my mother in law’s house I gave in and had a Dr. Pepper. I regretted it later. I officially don’t like caffeinated drinks anymore … but I will probably continue to have one every once in awhile just to remind myself how much I dislike them. I do this with certain things. It’s a very effective method of reassurance. At least, I find it is.
