just another error in judgement

I’m continuing to experiment with how to extend the life of my pencils. I think I’ve come up with a way to continue using the stubs even after they are too small to sharpen. It involves gluing the flat end of the stub to a new unsharpened pencil of the same color. My first attempt is with black, since I use it more than almost any other color. I glued my construct together yesterday and it seems stable enough. Now the true test will be once I get to the layer of glue while sharpening. It may ruin or dull my sharpening blade so I plan on using one of my less prized sharpeners and hoping for the best. It’s also possible the the whole thing will come apart. I’ll probably have the results by the end of the weekend.
